Phase 0 · Sample release
Credit briefs on any Chinese company — every number traced to its official filing
English-language credit briefs on Chinese listed and bond-issuing companies: registration and compliance screens, three statements across five reporting periods, ratios with peer benchmarks, mechanical reconciliation flags and industry context — assembled from official public filings, with cell-level provenance back to the source page.
Honest scope Briefs built only on officially filed financials (A-share & interbank bond issuers). Private companies are out of scope — we would rather tell you that than sell you a registry printout with no financial depth behind it.
What a brief gives you
Existing verification services resell registry data and litigation records. Nobody puts the filed financial statements in front of you, checked and traceable. That is the layer we build.
Mechanical extraction from official filings
Figures are pulled from periodic reports exactly as filed on cninfo — annual and interim reports — by a deterministic pipeline. No hand-keyed numbers, no LLM in the extraction path, no transcription errors.
Cross-check reconciliation flags
Where two filed figures should agree and don’t — cash-flow statement vs balance-sheet cash movement, the same item across report vintages — the brief flags the deviation with both values, both sources and page numbers.
Cell-level provenance to source page
Every key figure carries its source file, page number and original line item in the filing, so you can verify any number against the source document in minutes instead of commissioning a manual check.
Sample library
Real briefs on real issuers, rendered exactly as produced from official filings. Chinese source terms are kept where the filing uses them, so nothing is lost in translation.

Lithium battery maker in the middle of China’s battery price war: leverage climbing through the downcycle, gross margin compressing year over year, and a working-capital drift in the latest half-year — with mitigants stated alongside, and every anchor traceable to the filing page.

Mechanical extraction sometimes fails — unusual statement layouts defeat it. When that happens the brief says so at the top, quarantines the affected numbers, and withholds any conclusion that cannot be anchored to a clean figure. Two of our four samples are kept online because they are broken: they show the failure itself, which is exactly what you would want to know before trusting any vendor’s numbers.

BYD Company Limited
002594.SZ · Shenzhen
First cold-start run: the pipeline mechanics worked end-to-end, but BYD’s statement layout (values in RMB thousands, a note-reference column) broke the extractor — every extracted value understated a thousandfold. The brief carries the defect notice, the quarantined tables and a withheld red-flag section, with ground-truth anchors quoted from the filing.

Midea Group Co., Ltd.
000333.SZ · Shenzhen
Four compounding layout failures — combined consolidated-and-parent tables, note columns, an unrecognized unit declaration, a fallthrough into the notes section. The validation gate fired and failed the run as designed, and the brief documents each mechanism with page references.
